Society for the Advancement of Social Studies
All the history you knew but forgot, and
all the booze you need to forget it again.

The Society for the Advancement of Social Studies (SASS), The Brooklyn Brainery, and Public Assembly are proud to present a series of free lectures designed to both entertain and enlighten. On the first Tuesday of month, we will discuss a different historical topic that you probably knew at one point but don’t remember anymore.

This will be accompanied by fun games, surprise guests, and most importantly THEMED DRINK SPECIALS from the good folks at Public Assembly, which everyone knows is the best way to ensure maximum knowledge gained.

Meet Becky, too!

She’s bringing ancient Mongolian drama to your favorite local bar.

Becky loves to buy things in bulk. She studied business at the University of British Columbia and graduated with a specialization in obscure Canadian indie bands. Now, she lives in New York and has finally perfected her chocolate chip cookie recipe. Once, she tried to learn to speak Chinese but instead decided that researching Asian history was much more fun.
