All the history you knew but forgot, and
all the booze you need to forget it again.
The Society for the Advancement of Social Studies (SASS), The Brooklyn Brainery, and Public Assembly are proud to present a series of free lectures designed to both entertain and enlighten. On the first Tuesday of month, we will discuss a different historical topic that you probably knew at one point but don’t remember anymore.
This will be accompanied by fun games, surprise guests, and most importantly THEMED DRINK SPECIALS from the good folks at Public Assembly, which everyone knows is the best way to ensure maximum knowledge gained.
Tonight, join us as we have, like, the GREATEST Great Depression event ever. It’ll be great, really. Lectures on the whole shebang, the Dust Bowl, and NYC in the Depression! Plus, drink some Alphabet Soup and enter our bindle stick raffle! It’s all going down at Public Assembly, doors @7, lectures @7:15.
