The Society for the Advancement of Social Studies (SASS), The Brooklyn Brainery, and Public Assembly are proud to present a series of free lectures designed to both entertain and enlighten. On the first Tuesday of month, we will discuss a different historical topic that you probably knew at one point but don’t remember anymore.

This will be accompanied by fun games, surprise guests, and most importantly THEMED DRINK SPECIALS from the good folks at Public Assembly, which everyone knows is the best way to ensure maximum knowledge gained.

What you need to know:

This month we’re getting you in the mood for Valentines day with some very sexy history…learn about underwear through the ages, sexy scandals from days gone by, and how the definition of a “perfect marriage” has changed throughout the years.
